Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Firehouse Subs Team Member to join our team in Weston. This position plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while ensuring efficient service. As a Firehouse Subs Team Member, you will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall dining experience, from greeting customers to assisting with food service.

Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, providing a friendly and positive first impression.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing the cash register system.
• Ensuring cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices.
• Support kitchen staff by delivering food orders promptly and assisting with food handling as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials to provide recommendations to guests.
• Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all customers.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with cash registers and basic math skills for accurate cash handling is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is highly valued.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
