Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service and adhere to company policies.
- Manage cash handling processes, including overseeing transactions at the POS system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Assist in kitchen management by preparing food items as needed and ensuring proper inventory levels.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving efficiency and service quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management or a similar role, preferably in a culinary or hotel environment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management practices and food preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
