Firefly Tutors is hiring a MATH AND ELA (English Language Arts) TUTOR for middle school student and elementary student (25/26 School year)
IN-HOME / IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY
Math and reading tutor needed in Lemoore CA, 93245 and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY)
MUST BE AVAILABLE to tutor some school hours throughout the week, start immediately, and continue tutoring through the 25/26 school year
Ideal tutor candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Versed in CASSPP preparation instruction
- 1-2 years of experience working with students
Responsibilities
- Provide individual tutoring in math, reading, and writing to help student prepare for CAASPP Test
- Identify how students learn best
- Implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs
- Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASE TUTOR EARNING POTENTIAL
Pay is $35 per hour
1-10 hours per week, Part-time only
In-home tutoring only
