Firefly Tutors is hiring an ENGLISH AND MATH TUTOR for elementary school students (25/26 School year)
IN-HOME / IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY
Elementary math and English tutor needed in Eastvale CA, 92880 and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY)
MUST BE AVAILABLE to tutor some school hours throughout the week, start immediately, and continue tutoring through the 25/26 school year
Ideal tutor candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Versed in K - 6 curriculum instruction in math and English language arts (ELA)
- 1-2 years of experience working with students
Responsibilities
- Provide individual tutoring in math and English language arts (ELA) to enhance student understanding and performance
- Identify how students learn best
- Implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to students' needs
- Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth
ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASE TUTOR EARNING POTENTIAL
Pay is $35 per hour
1-10 hours per week, Part-time only
