What You’ll Do
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including sous chefs, line cooks, prep team, and dish staff.
  • Lead food preparation with high standards for quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal updates.
  • Manage BOH staff hiring, training, and performance to build a strong, cohesive team.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, handling, and sanitation regulations.
  • Control food and labor costs through effective inventory, portioning, and waste management.
  • Foster accountability and teamwork, including leading weekly BOH meetings.
  • Work an average of 45 hours per week, adjusted based on business needs.


What We’re Looking For
  • Proven culinary leadership experience (Sous Chef or higher).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to meet budgetary goals and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with computer applications (Excel required).
  • Knowledge of Health Department codes and compliance.
  • Passion for seasonal cuisine and creative food presentation.


Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $65,000–$80,000 annually (based on experience)
  • 401k: Firefly matches up to 3% (ROTH IRA or Simple IRA)
  • Quarterly Bonus: Up to $700 based on labor/food cost goals
  • Wellness Stipend: $20/month for gym membership with 7 visits
  • Paid Vacation: Two (2) weeks annually
  • Revenue Share: 1% revenue share
