Hourly pay of $18.00 from 0-90 days, then after training move to $20.00 per hour

Join FireFly Automatix and work on machines used by golf courses, sports fields, and turf farms across the country. Our team builds high performance sod harvesters and autonomous mowers. You will assemble major mechanical systems, solve problems, and help keep production moving.

You will succeed in this role if you have hands-on mechanical experience. Automotive repair, small engines, diesel, hydraulics, or equipment service background all translate well.

WHAT YOU DO

• Assemble mechanical systems on tractors, harvesters, and electric mowers
• Read build instructions and keep work aligned to the daily schedule
• Plan your work area so that builds stay on track
• Track completions and update the build system as you finish tasks
• Handle prebuild checks and final inspections
• Use tools and team communication channels to keep production flowing
• Keep your area clean, organized, and ready for audits

QUALITY

• Follow all quality steps for every build
• Complete inspections
• Flag issues early and help fix problems at the source
• Keep documentation current

INVENTORY

• Monitor parts levels for your station
• Work with inventory staff to keep everything stocked
• Track consumables

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

• Log improvement ideas
• Follow lean practices
• Support engineering updates and build changes
• Stay current on training

WHAT YOU BRING

• Mechanical background, especially automotive or equipment repair
• One year of assembly, tech, or production work preferred
• Able to follow schedules and manage tasks
• Strong organization habits
• Basic understanding of quality systems
• Clear communication and teamwork

8 hour shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday - Friday
