About the Role
The Administrator serves as the senior operational leader, responsible for the overall management and performance of the facility. Working closely with the Board of Trustees and leadership team, the Administrator ensures the delivery of high-quality care in compliance with all federal and New York State regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across all departments
- Ensure compliance with NYS Department of Health and federal regulations
- Champion a culture of resident-centered care and quality of life
- Lead survey readiness and serve as primary contact during DOH inspections
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Develop and mentor a high-performing leadership team
- Strengthen relationships with residents, families, and community partners
- Implement quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current New York State Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license required
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5-10 years of leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Demonstrated success in regulatory compliance and survey management
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Pay: $135,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
