What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Counselor or Supervisor position at Firecracker Math?
Firecracker Math Summer Camp is looking for energetic and enthusiastic Counselors and Site Supervisors to help lead campers through engaging daily programs.
Responsibilities
- Supervise campers and ensure a safe, positive camp environment
- Manage camp operations and logistics (Site Supervisors)
- Lead small groups of 6–12 campers through daily activities
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to help build campers’ confidence and self-esteem
- Support Instructors during math lessons and other activities
- Communicate with parents in a professional, friendly, and energetic manner
- Previous camp experience or experience with groups of children is required
Schedule
Dates: June 8 – July 31 (selected weeks available)
Half Day: 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Full Day: 8:45 AM – 4:00 PM
