The Team You’ll Work With …
As the Industrial Electrician II, you will work directly with our talented Maintenance team to ensure the optimal functionality of our electrical equipment through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and timely repairs. The Industrial Electrician II will bring solid hands-on experience in electrical diagnostics while also assisting with mechanical components (conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, kilns, and pumps). This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and is located onsite in Spokane, WA. Our culture thrives on professional development, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth within the organization. This is an hourly position on our Swing Shift with a 6% shift differential (2:30pm - 11:00pm with occasional work on weekends, holidays, and overtime) and pays $30.00 - $35.00, dependent on experience, plus a discretionary bonus and generous stock options.

The opportunities you will have …
- Electrical Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components (motors, starters, VFDs, relays, sensors) and execute routine preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed equipment.
- PLC & Automation Support: Assist with PLC and HMI troubleshooting by using software to monitor I/O status, read ladder logic, and trace control circuit faults to minimize downtime.
- Instrumentation & Controls: Install, test, and replace temperature sensors (thermocouples, RTDs), heat controllers, electrical actuators, and 4-20mA/0-10V control components under standard operating guidelines.
- Schematics & Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment manuals to diagnose field wiring and component issues accurately.
- Cross-Functional Maintenance: Diagnose basic mechanical issues on production lines, including mechanical drives, pneumatic cylinders, hydraulic valves, and pumps.
- Safety & Compliance: Strictly follow OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E guidelines, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) protocols, and Arc Flash safety standards.
- Equipment Operation & Documentation: Safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts; accurately log work orders, parts used, and equipment history within the CMMS.

About You …
- 3–5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or continuous-production environment.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens) with the ability to navigate software and troubleshoot I/O signals.
- Familiarity with heat control loops (temperature controllers, SCRs, thermocouples) and electrical actuators/modulating valves.
- Practical experience wiring 3-phase motors, VFDs, control panels, and industrial sensors.
- Proficiency in using digital multimeters, megohmmeters, and hand tools to isolate electrical faults.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drive systems.
- High School Diploma/GED plus technical certification, electrical apprenticeship coursework, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work independently on daily tasks while escalating complex control issues when needed.
- Must supply basic personal hand tools; valid driver’s license required.
