What are the responsibilities and job description for the AI Adoption Intern position at Firebird Strategy?
Firebird Strategy is looking for smart and curious people wanting to learn AI skills who can model to others how to put the human back into AI to advance the creation of a regional pro-e-bike advocacy entity called Pedal Power.
Role:
This is a part-time, asynchronous, volunteer role to build out the infrastructure for an urbanist social movement centering humanity and community. Pedal Power is meant to be a tent and there is room for everyone at this table. What you do is up to you: we are looking for ideas.
Needs:
- App/website/CRM development
- Copywriting/marketing
- SLM development
- Social media content creation and editing
- Contact management
- Tactical urbanism/placemaking
- Workshop delivery
- Qualitative data analysis/GIS
Qualifications
- Creativity in using AI tools to advance solutions to real-world problems
- Desire to upend car centrism with electric bikes as a catalyst for systemic change
- Ability to commit and deliver on one's promise
- Ability to document and share processes and skills with others
- Ability to be patient and persistent with naysayers and detractors
- Be a self-starter and work within a framework with little/no guidance
- Residence in Chicago city limits
- Bonus: familiarity with the writings of bell hooks, Sarah Schulman, Robin W Kimmerer, and Jane Jacobs
