BASIC FUNCITONS: Under the supervision of the Building Principal and Director of Student Services performs paraprofessional instructional and personal hygiene activities in specialized programs; to provide intensified learning experiences for students in general educations classes, special education and resources specialist programs; to provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel; the district’s speech program and any other duties assigned. May transport students occasionally or serve as vehicle monitor.

GENERAL SUMMERY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision of the Building Principal and Director of Student Services performs paraprofessional instructional and personal hygiene activities in specialized programs; to provide intensified learning experiences for students in regular class, special education and resource specialist programs; to provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel and any other duties assigned. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: • A cover letter discussing the candidate’s qualifications. • Verification of NCLB requirements; 48 semester units or AA degree or pass paraeducator exam (for information go to www.fcoe.org) • Copy of High School Diploma or equivalent • Resume • Letters of Recommendation (3) REQUIRED EDUCATION: • Applicant must meet NCLB requirements; 48 semester units or AA degree or pass paraeducator exam (for information go to www.fcoe.org) • High School Diploma or equivalent • First Aid and CPR certification
