- Alarm Technician is responsible for the projects and services assigned- Use experience to program and install/troubleshoot and service FIrelite, SilentKnight, Bosch, Potter, Honeywell, Ademnco, Kiddie, -Fire Alarm Systems.-(Install/Inspections/RecordOfCompletions/Service)-
- Intercom systems*Network Drops(certify and terminate) Security Systems
- CCTV systems installation and maintain for commercial clients
- Manage tools and materials needed for projects to set up
- Read and follow plans for Fire alarm/LV system wiring and provide guidance to complete install/service
- Completes maintenance within assigned Labor allocated hours
- Assists with the kick-off of new equipment or system installation and adjusts as needed to ensure the system is operational
- Perform work assignments in a safe manner in specified cost
- Maintain good customer relations to assist with contract retention.
- Maintain company property and documentation in accordance with established policies; handle proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adhere to and support Fire Security Solutions LLC. policies and procedures, including all safety requirements
- Maintain knowledge of industry changes and upcoming technology
- Complete training programs requested by MGT/Clients
- Present a professional attire in accordance with the company uniform
- Coordinate availability for emergency service call rotation
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge and low voltage electrical experience
- Field service and service technician experience
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with fire alarm systems, schematics, low voltage, and NEC codes
- Knowledge of sensors and alarm system systems
- Ability to read blueprints and layouts for wiring and mounting devices
- Experience in construction and construction inspections
