Job description:

Fire Protection Specialists is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Suppression System Technician to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring commercial facilities meet safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently on day shifts with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety protocols and proper PPE procedures at all times.
  • Perform services and inspections to company and industry standards.
  • Perform inspections on Fire Extinguishers and Emergency Lighting as required.
  • Perform Inspections of Suppression Systems as required.
  • Perform accurate site surveys and recommendations to customer facilities to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain trust and professionalism with customers and team members.
  • Ensure trucks are stocked with necessary materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Keep work areas, equipment, and vehicles clean and organized.
  • Adhere to vehicle maintenance and inventory procedures.
  • Climb ladders and access elevated work areas safely.
  • Lift and transport materials up to 75 lbs.
  • Accurately document and report job details.
  • Communicate any compliance issues to the appropriate contact.
  • Arrive on time to job sites and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Operate and maintain basic inspection and maintenance equipment.
  • Work independently and make informed decisions without direct supervision.
  • Some overnight travel required each month.
  • Flexible shift schedules dispatching out of La Crosse Area
  • Remote dispatching available.
  • 1 day job shadow required prior to hiring consideration.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
