Fire Protection Services, LLC is seeking a Fire Inspections Apprentice to support fire and life safety inspections across our commercial customer base. This is a developmental, field-based role designed to provide hands-on training and mentorship while working alongside certified Inspectors and Technicians.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support inspections, testing, service, and maintenance of fire alarm systems and/or PFE & kitchen hood systems under supervision
- Prepare tools, testing devices, and materials for inspections
- Assist with documenting inspection results accurately and consistently
- Learn to identify system deficiencies and assist with troubleshooting as directed
- Participate in on-the-job training and certification programs
- Follow safety procedures, company standards, and documentation requirements
- Interact professionally with customers, site contacts, and internal team members
- Honest, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn technical systems and follow procedures
- Interest in fire alarm or fire & life safety systems
- Ability to complete assignments with increasing independence as skills develop
- Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude preferred
- Familiarity with mobile devices or digital documentation tools
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Willingness to pursue required certifications and licensing
