You start by gearing up, knowing that you'll be scaling ladders, navigating steep rooftops, and working in unpredictable weather conditions. Chimney maintenance is no small task; you'll be inspecting and sweeping chimneys, fireplaces, and dryer vents, ensuring they are safe and functioning properly. Your work also includes chimney repairs, repointing/tuckpointing, installing chimney caps and chase covers, and reinforcing flashing to prevent leaks.
