Hearth Installer - Chimney Tech

Fire N' Stone-a trusted, family‑owned leader in Tilton, NH-is seeking an experienced full‑time Hearth Installer - Chimney Tech to join our team!

Must-Haves:

• 1 year of experience in the hearth and/or chimney industry
• Experience working with chimney service and/or hearth appliance installations
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working on roofs of all pitches and heights
• Ability to lift 80 lbs.
• Ability to safely set up and work job sites, including staging
• Motivated team player with the ability to solve complex problems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred qualifications include: CSIA and NFI certifications (not mandatory to start, but required for continued employment), an NH State Gas Fitters license, and a medical card. Having construction, masonry, vocational training, or in-home service technician experience is highly desirable. We are open to training the right candidate with the right attitude who meets the minimum experience criteria!

Responsibilities Include:

As our Hearth Installer - Chimney Tech, you'll roll out each morning at 7:00 AM with a stocked company vehicle and a clear plan: perform cleanings and inspections that catch issues early, execute repairs and chimney linings to strict code, and complete stove and fireplace installs that make homeowners smile. You'll read each job site quickly, set up staging safely, and adapt to roof pitches with confidence. Throughout the day, you'll translate findings into honest, on‑the‑spot recommendations-closing the loop with the products and services customers truly need-while maintaining crisp communication, clean workspaces, and professional execution.

• $25–$40/hr ($60,000–$85,000/year based on skill and efficiency)
