Guest Service Specialist

Job Overview
The Guest Services Specialist is the first point of contact for every guest, setting the tone for the entire Fire & Ice experience. We are looking for an energetic, welcoming professional who is passionate about wellness with excellent organizational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
• Clearly explain the facility layout, guide guests to the appropriate gender-separated sections, and provide a brief overview of the session flow (sauna -> plunge -> rest). Promote spa services and products to enhance client experience and drive sales.
• Maintain accurate records of guest reservations and billing details
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs
• Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and guest relations at all times
• Support other front desk operations and administrative tasks as required
• Assist with light opening and closing duties, ensuring the reception area and lobby are clean, organized, and inviting.

Experience

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role (retail, hospitality, or spa preferred).
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional, friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency with scheduling software or POS systems is a plus.
• Passion for health, wellness, or recovery is highly desirable.
• Ability to consistently provide thoughtful product recommendations (training provided)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week
