Bud Tender/ Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and friendly Marijuana Budtender to join our team that also holds a security guard card. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cannabis and a strong understanding of various strains, products, and their effects as well as running the security role, in monitoring cameras and securing the building during regular business hours. As a Budtender/ Security Guard, you will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers on product offerings, and ensure compliance with all regulations within the dispensary , while keeping customers in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting the right cannabis products based on their needs and preferences.
• Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product effects to facilitate informed purchasing decisions.
• Maintain an organized and clean display of products while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining customer confidentiality.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed to ensure product availability.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any conflicts or issues in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.

Skills

• First aid certification is preferred to ensure customer safety in the dispensary environment.
• Experience in law enforcement or security is advantageous for maintaining a safe environment.
• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) is beneficial for monitoring store activities.
• Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle customer disputes or concerns.
• Background in military service is valued for discipline and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to protect store assets and maintain inventory integrity.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
