What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Coordinator position at Fire Fighter Sales & Service?
Fire Fighter Sales & Service is a local family owned & operated business in Grand Rapids. We have been servicing our community for over 70 years in the Fire Protection field! We are seeking a responsible & detail oriented individual for this important role within our company.
Primary:
- Generate accurate customer invoices with services/items provided, dates of service, & amounts due
- Maintain & update customer accounts for accuracy
- Scan, file, & organize paperwork
- Daily data entry in QuickBooks & company files
- Provide excellent customer service regarding billing inquiries or errors
- Answer phones & address customer questions as they arise
- Manage company email
Secondary:
- Process credit card payments & apply in Quickbooks
- Prepare sales orders
- Perform additional duties as requested
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
- Quickbooks Experience preferred
- Basic mathematics
- Competency with computer use & navigation
- Excellent written & oral communication
- Demonstrate a positive professional attitude with customers & coworkers
Per hour rate based off relevant experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
