We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead the installation and upgrade of Clean Agent Suppression (FM-200, Novec 1230) and Fire Alarm Systems. This role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and exceptional communication skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination
Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and installation teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Client Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, conducting site visits, and ensuring their expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget & Resource Management
Monitor project costs, procure necessary materials and equipment, and oversee resource allocation to maintain efficiency and profitability.
- Compliance & Safety Oversight
Ensure all work adheres to fire safety standards, including NFPA 2001 and NFPA 72. Conduct safety audits and enforce compliance with all regulations.
- Team Leadership
Lead cross-functional teams, offering guidance and support to engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to maintain productivity and resolve issues.
- Quality Assurance
Oversee site inspections, testing, and system commissioning to ensure installations meet high standards of performance and reliability.
- Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate project records and deliver timely progress reports to clients and senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years managing fire suppression and alarm system projects
- Strong understanding of NFPA standards and local safety regulations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets and cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Certifications:
- NICET certification in Fire Alarm or Fire Protection Systems
- Other relevant certification in fire protection systems or safety standards
