Fire Fighter Sales & Service is a local family owned & operated business in Grand Rapids. We have been servicing our community for over 80 years in the Fire Protection field. We are seeking a responsible & detail oriented individual to join our team as Accounts Payable & Office Assistant.
Primary Duties
- Submit & manage inspection reports to local municipalities
- Daily processing of vendor invoices
- Prepare checks & payments to vendors
- Maintain & update vendor accounts for accuracy
- Communicate with vendors to address questions and identify invoice discrepancies
- Maintain organized financial records
- Provide support to internal PO processing & distribution
- Manage company email
Additional Responsibilities
- Answer phones & address customer needs
- Process credit card payments & apply in Quick Books Accounting
- Provide support to AR as needed
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
- Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
- Competency with basic computer use & navigation
- Quick Books experience or a similar accounting program
- Excellent written & oral communication
- Demonstrate a positive & professional attitude with customers & coworkers
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
