Position Overview
We are currently seeking skilled Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs), Advanced EMTs (AEMTs) and Paramedics (EMT-P) to join our team. As a member of our team, you will provide pre-hospital emergency care, respond to 911 calls, and ensure patient safety during transport.
Compensation
- EMT Salary:$43,264/yr
- AEMT Wage: $51,376/yr
- Paramedic Wage: $55,484/yr
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide basic/advanced life support as appropriate.
- Assess patients’ conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring and maintaining their condition.
- Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment in accordance with company and state regulations.
- Document patient care reports accurately and promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members, patients, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
For EMTs:
- Current EMT certification/licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Valid EVOC and EMSVO certification.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
For Paramedics and AEMTs:
- Current Paramedic/ AEMT certification/licensure in Pennsylvania.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- International Trauma Life Support or similar certification
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid EVOC and EMSVO certification.
- UPMC Command
