What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor position at Fire Art?
As part of our general labor team, you'll be expected to:
We're looking for people who are:
Our general labor positions pay $14/hour, and work begins immediately. You can expect part-time hours now though April, full-time hours from May 1st until July 8th, and then part-time hours from July 8th until mid-August. Extended work days might be required between June 28th and July 6th.

- Operate a laptop computer with a scanner to run our inventory management software
- Unload, sort and label boxes, keeping inventory organized
- Pull and organize wholesale orders, staging for pick-up
- Load boxes, equipment and supplies onto trucks
- Operate a forklift and pallet jack
- Unload, sort, and clean boxes, equipment, and supplies after displays are finished
- Build wooden racks to house mortars used in displays (rough carpentry)
- Assist general manager with tracking equipment used for different displays
- Clean and organize work areas
We're looking for people who are:
- 18 years of age
- Committed to safety and willing to follow standard safety procedures for handling fireworks and equipment
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Skilled in computer basics
- Attentive to details
- Able to work outdoors or in structures open to the outdoors during the summer months
