Duties
- Inspect and test fire extinguishers for proper operation, pressure levels, and compliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes
- Repair, recharge, and certify fire extinguishers according to manufacturer specifications and safety regulations
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, certifications, and system modifications
Requirements
- Experience as a fire extinguisher technician or service technician a bonus
- Will Train on the job
- Proficiency in using hand tools
- Able to lift up to 40lb units
- Ability to work independently in the shop while maintaining work standards
