We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting clients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about various cannabis strains and consumption methods.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring that inventory levels are monitored and replenished as needed.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Upsell products by highlighting promotions or complementary items to enhance the customer experience.
- Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Experience in retail sales, particularly in the cannabis industry or related fields is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service while fostering a positive shopping experience.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, terpenes, processes, edibles, concentrates, and accessories is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to upsell products through effective communication and product knowledge.
- Experience with supervising staff is desirable but not mandatory.
