Role Description
The Quality Engineer will support efforts to uphold and enhance the quality of FTG's aerospace and defense products. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols, conducting quality inspections, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and process optimization is an integral part of this role. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Fredericksburg, VA.
Qualifications
- Experience in Quality Engineering and implementing quality strategies within manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
- Knowledge of Product Quality practices, including inspection, testing, and resolving quality-related issues.
- Familiarity with Quality Management systems and tools for maintaining and improving operational effectiveness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience PCB industry and familiarity with AS9100D, and NADCAP standards are a plus.
