Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, debone, and prepare meat products for packaging and sale
- Operate butcher equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tools, and equipment
- Follow USDA, state, and company food safety standards
- Properly package, label, and store meat products
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
- Maintain organized cold storage and processing areas
- Assist customers professionally when needed
Qualifications
- Previous butcher or meat processing experience preferred
- Knowledge of meat cuts and safe handling procedures
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and with a team
