We’re seeking a skilled and versatile Trading Systems Engineer to join our Execution Development Team. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a group of experienced professionals dedicated to continuous improvement and operational excellence. You’ll take ownership of complex, real-time trading system interactions and work closely with technology and development teams to enhance and optimize our execution infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the stability and continuity of critical trading operations, ensuring swift and effective resolution of system issues.
- Collaborate with technology and trading teams to design, evolve, and deploy scalable system architectures.
- Develop automation tools to streamline system orchestration, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Manage market connectivity, liaising directly with exchanges on order activity, connectivity, and related technical matters.
- Monitor and analyze trading system performance, proactively identify bottlenecks, and implement long-term solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Integration, or a related technical role.
- Strong proficiency with Linux, including system administration, network configuration, and server management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals — including routing protocols, TCP/UDP, multicast, network offload, and kernel bypass technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL technologies is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies is a plus.
- Experience configuring FPGA systems in a Linux environment is advantageous.
- A self-motivated problem solver with strong curiosity, ownership, and a desire to learn in a dynamic trading environment.
Salary : $250,000 - $400,000
