We’re seeking a multi-talented, passionate Trading Systems Engineer to join our Execution Development team. You’ll be part of a group of experienced professionals dedicated to operational excellence and continual improvement. In this role, you’ll take responsibility for complex, real-time system interactions and collaborate with teams across technology and trading to enhance our execution systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure the reliability and uptime of critical trading systems, addressing issues with urgency and precision
- Partner with trading and technology teams to evolve and deploy system architecture improvements
- Build automation tools for system orchestration, monitoring, and maintenance
- Support market connectivity, including communication with exchanges regarding trade order activity, connectivity, and other technical matters
- Monitor trading system performance, proactively detect issues, and deliver lasting solutions
Skills and Experience
- 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Integration, or related roles
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Linux systems, network configuration, and server management
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing protocols, TCP/UDP, multicast, kernel bypass, etc.)
- Proficiency in Python and Bash
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL databases preferred
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies preferred
- Experience configuring FPGA systems in a Linux environment a plus
- Self-driven, curious, and comfortable solving unique technical problems in a dynamic trading environment

Salary : $250,000 - $400,000
