Account Manager – Personal Lines Insurance

FinPoint Insurance is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Account Manager to join our team in Southport. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping clients protect what matters most, and working in a professional, team-oriented office environment.
We’re seeking someone who is organized, dependable, and passionate about delivering excellent service to personal lines insurance clients.
What You’ll Do
- Provide personalized insurance quotes and coverage recommendations
- Convert quotes into bound policies
- Manage and service existing personal lines accounts
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims reporting
- Review policies for accuracy and coverage needs
- Clearly explain coverage options and recommendations to clients
- Document client interactions in the agency management system
- Deliver prompt, professional, and friendly customer service
What We’re Looking For
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license required prior to start date (Offer may be extended prior to licensing; licensing assistance available)
- Personal lines insurance experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through abilities
- Comfortable learning and using agency management systems
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience
