Position: Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Salary $150-165K Base

Overview:
We're seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to maintain and optimize enterprise-level database systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability. This role demands strong ownership, proactive issue resolution, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Oracle database environments (11g 19c ).

• Perform upgrades, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

• Manage database backup/recovery, HA/DR (RAC, DataGuard), and system health monitoring.

• Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain data integrity and security.

• Support production releases and 24x7 on-call rotation.

• Collaborate with development teams and continuously enhance system efficiency.

Non-Negotiable Skills:

• 7 years of Oracle DBA experience.

• Strong performance tuning expertise.

• Full database administration cycle support.

• Experience with Oracle RAC and recovery management.

Preferred:

• Financial services experience.

• Knowledge of OS (AIX, Linux, Windows).

• Exposure to other RDBMS (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Sybase).

• Cloud platform experience.
