Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Migration Engineer to support a large-scale migration from legacy ETL platforms to modern, cloud-based tools. This role focuses on migrating existing ETL workflows—not building new pipelines from scratch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate ETL workflows from tools like Informatica to modern platforms (e.g., Airflow, DBT, SnapLogic)
- Analyze existing ETL processes and translate them into new environments
- Document data flows, mappings, and transformation logic
- Automate migration tasks using Python and scripting tools
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams on migration strategy
- Support deployment using AWS/Azure and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
Required Skills:
- Strong ETL migration experience (Informatica preferred)
- Hands-on with modern ETL tools or open-source frameworks
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments
- Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform)
- Solid understanding of data integration and ETL architecture
Nice to Have:
- ETL or cloud certifications
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools
