Manufacturing Manager

The primary responsibilities of the Manufacturing Manager are to produce and package medical cannabis products in preparation for testing and distribution. The Manufacturing Technician will perform critical tasks to ensure that the company’s regulated medical cannabis products are produced in a timely, high quality, and compliant manner and available to qualified patients in Florida when needed.

The person in this role needs to have strong attention to small details, follow direction and understand production goals, maintain consistency across large volumes of products, and be an adaptable team player.

• Fill cannabis oils and formulations into various products
• Package and label all cannabis and non-cannabis items, including weighing and packing of flower products, packaging of edibles and concentrates
• Operate, clean, and maintain filling machines and other equipment
• Complete production orders with consistency and quality while maintaining reasonable speed
• Keep accurate records at all steps in process to maintain quality and control of regulated product
• Awareness and adherence to GMP regulations and company SOPs
• Be aware of quality and compliance standards each product type
• Maintain proper PPE and hygiene for work in a clean room environment

Required

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI)
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position, standing, 80% of the time or more
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work cleanly and efficiently
• Must be responsible and self-managed
• Must have excellent follow-up and tracking skills
• Ability to work both individually and in teams
• Flexibility to switch tasks as production goals change
• Must be able to pass a Level II background check
  
  

Preferred

• Experience working in a licensed cannabis production facility
• General manufacturing or packaging experience
• Degree preferred but not required
