About The Role

You’ll work across multiple brands in industries including CPG, retail, e-commerce, and consumer products, helping clients establish clean financial operations while acting as a trusted accounting partner.

What You’ll Do
- Own core accounting operations across multiple consumer brand clients
- Lead month-end close processes including:
- Journal entries
- Accruals
- Account reconciliations
- Financial reporting
- Maintain accurate, GAAP-compliant financials within NetSuite
- Support inventory accounting processes including:
- COGS
- Landed costs
- Inventory reconciliations
- Variance analysis
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition across channels including Amazon, Shopify, DTC, wholesale, and retail
- Help build and improve scalable accounting workflows and internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and supply chain teams
- Assist with audits, tax support, investor reporting requests, and ad hoc projects
- Support process automation and operational improvements across client accounts
- Serve as a trusted advisor and day-to-day accounting partner to clients
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong experience within CPG, consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce environments preferred
- Extensive GAAP accounting experience required
- Strong NetSuite experience required
- Experience with inventory accounting and multi-entity environments strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of:
- Revenue recognition
- Inventory costing
- Accrual accounting
- Financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations, and reporting analysis
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and clients simultaneously
- Experience working in an outsourced accounting, advisory, or client-facing environment is a plus
- Self-starter mindset with strong attention to detail and accountability
