We are seeking a passionate and reliable CNA Instructor to join our team in Orlando, Florida.
Position Summary
The CNA Instructor teaches classroom theory, skills lab, and clinical instruction in accordance with Florida Board of Nursing requirements and the approved program curriculum.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to helping students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Teach CNA theory and skills instruction in Spanish.
- Prepare students for the Florida CNA examination.
- Supervise and evaluate students during clinical experiences at assigned healthcare facilities.
- Provide direct supervision during classroom, lab, and clinical instruction.
- Monitor student attendance, progress, and performance.
- Maintain accurate student and program records in accordance with Florida requirements.
- Ensure students perform only skills for which they have received instruction and demonstrated competency.
- Maintain a professional, organized, and supportive learning environment.
- Provide students with guidance, feedback, and mentoring.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience (1 year in long-term care preferred)
- Experience supervising nurse aides or teaching
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior teaching experience in a vocational school
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
