What are the responsibilities and job description for the TIG Welder / Fabricator position at FINITETEK INC?
Required qualification / Education / and/or Experience:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position
- Ability to organize priorities, daily tasks and complete actions on time, in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and leadership ability
- Must be able to provide proof of legal ability to work in the United States
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to pass FAA drug screen and background check
- Experience welding thin wall (.030-.070”) stainless steel or nickel alloys
- Ability to certify to NADCAP requirements (AWS D17.1) for stainless steel on all required joint types
- Ability to certify as a (CWI) Certified Weld Inspector (AWS QC1, B5.2)
- Experience in or ability to be trained as a torch brazer
- Experience in Aerospace welding or thin metalworking
- Applies basic math and blueprint interpretation skills
