This full-time position (1 PM - 9 PM) offers a shift differential for those working the 2nd shift. Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections of food products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Monitor production processes and report any deviations from established protocols.
- Assist in the implementation of food safety and quality assurance programs.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain a culture of quality and safety.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality issues.
- Conduct Metal Check and ensure safety of product.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on food safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quality inspection within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality assurance (FSQA) principles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the 2nd shift hours until production is complete
