What You'll Do
As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading sales and profitability initiatives within your assigned territory while supporting and developing a team of sales and technical service professionals. Responsibilities include:
- Drive achievement of regional sales and profitability goals.
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key customers and industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for field sales and service representatives.
- Assist with customer issue resolution and escalation management.
- Conduct sales presentations and support marketing initiatives.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare monthly sales reports and regional business updates.
- Represent FinishWorks at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of successful sales experience.
- Proven ability to develop business and grow strategic accounts.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the region.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in coatings, wood finishes, paints, industrial coatings, specialty chemicals, adhesives, building products, or related manufacturing industries.
- Previous sales leadership or sales management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience managing distributors, OEM accounts, or manufacturing customers.
