Iowa Licensed Journeyman Electrician – Data Center

Finish Line Staffing is hiring Iowa Licensed Journeyman Electricians for a large data center project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
This position offers competitive hourly pay, overtime, per diem and a $7,500 bonus opportunity.
Compensation & Schedule
- $65.00 per hour
- $175 per day per diem
- Per diem paid 7 days per week when all scheduled workdays are completed
- Approximately 50–55 hours per week
- Overtime available
- Up to $7,500 in bonuses
Bonus Structure
- $2,500 after 30 days
- $2,500 after 90 days
- $2,500 upon successful project completion
Bonus eligibility is subject to project attendance and employment requirements.
Job Responsibilities
Electricians will perform general journeyman-level electrical work on a large-scale data center project. Work is primarily standard electrical installation and related duties.
License Requirements
Candidates with a current Iowa Journeyman Class A/B Electrical License are strongly encouraged to apply.
Journeyman electricians licensed in certain states may qualify to obtain their Iowa license through reciprocity.
Reciprocity states include:
Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Reciprocity is subject to Iowa Electrical Examining Board requirements and approval.
Additional Requirements
- Iowa Journeyman Class A/B license or ability to obtain one through reciprocity
- Ability to work approximately 50–55 hours per week
- Ability to meet project safety and onboarding requirements
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
