We’re Hiring: Part-Time Race Timer (Oʻahu Based)
Are you organized, tech-savvy, and enjoy being part of exciting races? Join our team as a Part-Time Race Timer!
We’re looking for someone who can work 2–3 days per week, helping prepare for races at our Waipahu, Oʻahu warehouse and timing races, primarily on Oʻahu. This position requires working at least one weekend day.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare race timing equipment and materials during the week (at least one day)
* Time races on event days (early mornings required) (usually Sunday morning)
* Transport and set up equipment (must be able to lift ~50 lbs)
* Occasional travel to neighbor islands
Skills & Qualifications:
* Punctual and reliable
* Able to meet deadlines
* Detail-oriented
* Tech-savy
* Knowledge of Excel/spreadsheets
* Some programming experience (a plus, but not required)
* Valid driver’s license and ability to drive
* Comfortable working early mornings and outdoors
Compensation & Benefits:
* Compensation is negotiable
* Healthcare provided at *20 hours per week
Tentative Training Plan:
2 months of prep work training
1 month of data management training
2 months of race timing training as a race-timer assistant
