Finic is looking for a founding engineer to help us tackle a multi-deca-billion industry - financial crime detection. This role is closer to a forward deployed engineer than full stack engineer, but with plenty of flexibility in scope depending on the candidates skills, preferences, and the company’s evolving needs.

- Work closely with enterprise customers to understand their pain points
- Design and implement solutions using gen AI, Python, Typescript, and AWS
- Keep customer engagements on track from POC to pilot to production
- Some domestic travel may be required

- Has experience working as a forward deployed engineer at another enterprise AI company (Palantir, Scale, startups, etc)
- OR has experience as a founder or employee #1-10
- Is comfortable shipping code on a regular basis but also loves talking to customers
- Understands how to leverage AI effectively, both as a tool and as part of a product
- Must be based in the SF bay area or NYC or willing to relocate
Salary : $125,000 - $250,000
