Job Overview

Fingers Duke is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level or experienced Screen Printer. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

If you have a strong background in Screen Printing within a screen printing environment, we are open to negotiating the current pay rate to reflect your experience and expertise.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Set up screens and complete project registration.
• Print client and in-house Fingers Duke screen printing projects.
• Prepare screens for projects, including coating and reclaiming.
• Stack, sort, and organize completed projects for client delivery.
• Operate a manual screen printing press efficiently.
• If trained, operate an automatic screen printing press efficiently (ROQ).
• Follow all safety guidelines when working with screen printing equipment, materials, and chemicals.

Quality Control Requirements

• Ensure they are correctly setting up and printing every order assigned to their press.
• Ensure they are fully familiar with the work order and the job before they begin.
• Ensure that all points of confusion, questions and concerns with the order are addressed before they begin.
• Ensure that they are properly and fully prepared to print each order before they begin.
• Ensure that they receive a first piece approval on all orders.
• Ensure that every piece is printed to the correct specifications regarding print location, placement, ink color and ink type, according to the work order and mocks.
• Ensure every piece is free from defects such as pinholes, fuzzballs, registration issues and scorching.
• Ensure the dryer is set appropriately as to properly cure each print while also preventing discoloration, scorching and ink boiling.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods (e.g., 8-hour shifts).
• Capability to walk, bend, kneel, and lift as needed throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 25-50 lbs safely and repeatedly.
• Dexterity to operate tools, machinery, or equipment as required by the job.
• Comfort working in environments that may involve varying temperatures, noise levels, or exposure to certain substances (e.g., dust, chemicals).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $21.00 per hour
