Fingerlakes Mall is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our janitorial team. This position is critical to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our tenants, patrons, and event attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the mall's common areas and event spaces.
- Maintain restrooms, ensuring cleanliness, restocking supplies, and addressing issues promptly.
- Clean and prepare event spaces as needed, including setup and breakdown assistance.
- Respond to tenant or management cleaning requests in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report maintenance needs, such as repairs or safety hazards, to the appropriate team.
- Adhere to safety protocols and use cleaning supplies and equipment correctly.
- Ensure the exterior areas, including entrances, sidewalks, and parking lots are free of debris and well-maintained.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in janitorial or housekeeping work is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
