Practice Manager – Finger Lakes Health Gastroenterology

Are you an organized leader who thrives in a busy clinical setting? Finger Lakes Health is seeking a Practice Manager to guide our Gastroenterology practice, supporting both patients and staff with compassion, efficiency, and professionalism.

What You'll Do

As the Practice Manager for Gastroenterology, you'll be the backbone of the practice, making sure everything runs smoothly for both patients and providers. You will:

• Lead and support our talented team of LPNs, Medical Assistants, Medical Secretaries, and Physicians.

• Oversee daily operations including patient scheduling, billing, and procedure coordination.

• Serve as the central liaison between patients, staff, and external partners.

• Manage budgets, resources, and staff development to keep the practice operating efficiently.

• Build effective office systems that improve workflow and patient experience.

What We're Looking For

We need a strong communicator, team leader, and multitasker who has experience in a clinical practice environment and a passion for patient-centered care.

Education & Certification

• A.A.S Degree in business or related field. Preferred B.S> in business or healthcare administration.
  
  
  

Experience & Skills

• 3–5 years in physician practice operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong background in scheduling and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Preferred: Gastroenterology or surgical specialty experience, knowledge of physician billing, operating budgets, and Medent EMR.

Other Must-Haves

• Ability to work independently while managing a team.

• Knowledge of CPT & ICD-10 coding, outpatient registration, and surgical/procedure scheduling.

• Strong customer service focus and a commitment to teamwork.

Salary Range based off Experience: $61,079.00-$81,200.00
