Daily Pay Available
Health Insurance available at the first of the month, after 30 days
Available Shifts: Day/Eve rotations, Evenings, Nights, Day/Night rotations
Weekend and Holiday Rotations
8 hour shifts
Requirements
Education: Successful completion of Practical Nursing Program
License: Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure
Certifications: BLS
Experience: Two (2)-years LTC Experience as an LPN with successful completion of supervised medication administration and written test. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner. Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling
Responsibility Summary
Provides direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents. Follows defined policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Maintains a collaborative relationship with other nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary staff. Maintains an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education and inservice programs. The LPN shall have the ability to provide care to geriatric residents.
