Position Summary:
The Surgical Services Environmental Services Aide plays a vital role in supporting the safe and efficient operation of the Surgical Services Department. This position helps ensure a clean, organized, and properly stocked perioperative environment while following strict hospital safety standards, infection prevention practices, and exceptional service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout Surgical Services areas
- Support infection prevention efforts by following established protocols
- Ensure operating rooms and department areas are properly prepared and maintained
- Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining an organized work environment
- Follow hospital safety guidelines and departmental procedures
- Provide support to the surgical team through dependable and timely service
Qualifications:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred:
- Previous operating room or healthcare experience (not required)
Pay Range:
$17.45 - $18.94 per hour
