Finger Lakes Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to join our team as the Assistant Director of Education. This role is ideal for a motivated nurse educator who is passionate about staff development, clinical excellence, and driving innovative education programs in a hospital setting.
What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for the Education Department
- Develop and implement clinical education programs, training, and curriculum
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
- Support strategic initiatives, program growth, and workforce development
- Partner with leadership to enhance staff competency and performance
- Oversee departmental resources, scheduling, and program effectiveness
- Mentor and support clinical educators and staff
What You Need
Required:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Active New York State RN license
- 5 years of RN experience
- 3 years in leadership or management
- 3 years in nursing education or clinical education
Preferred:
- Doctorate in Nursing or related field
Additional Requirement:
- Moderate sedation competency within 6 months of hire
