As a Route Sales Distributor, you will be a vital partner driving our success in the growing Northern NY/Vermont market.
Key Responsibilities: Driving Growth and Client Partnership
- Sales & Growth:
- Actively manage and expand the established sales route (Autonomous Territory Management).
- Drive New Business Development through strategic cold calls and networking in the Northern NY/Vermont market.
- Present and sell new product lines to both existing and potential new customers.
- Account Management & Service Excellence:
- Establish and solidify long-term professional client relationships with customers (Account Management).
- Provide Five-Star Client Service, ensuring all customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
- Proactively assist the Customer Service team with collections efforts as needed.
- Administration & Operations:
- Accurately complete all sales administration paperwork and process customer payments.
- Attend all scheduled sales meetings and provide good communication to the home office team.
- Ensure the Company vehicle is meticulously maintained and report any issues promptly.
- Ensure Company inventory is stored and organized accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven success in a professional sales role (e.g., Route Sales, Outside Sales).
- Licensing: A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record is required.
- Core Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage time independently and efficiently. As well as maintaining product inventory for best sales practices.
- High degree of accuracy with numbers is essential for seamless order and payment processing.
- Knowledge: Automotive knowledge or industry familiarity, is highly beneficial and will fast-track your success.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly maintaining and cleaning the Company vehicle.
- Maintaining warehouse stock orders for efficient delivery & inventory.
- Ability to deliver moderate quantities of product to customers as needed (up to 50 Lbs).
- Assisting with annual Company inventories, which may require physical stamina.
