IT - Systems Operations Analyst, Senior (Program Analyst – Business & Site Readiness)

Job Title: IT - Systems Operations Analyst, Senior

Location: Auburn Regional Center, 12840 Bill Clark Way, Auburn, CA 95602

Duration: 6 Months

Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 Days Onsite per Week)

Rate: $80–95/hr on W2

Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Systems Operations Analyst / Program Analyst to support Business & Site Readiness activities for a large-scale enterprise transformation initiative. This role serves as a central coordination, reporting, and analytics function, ensuring organizational readiness for key program milestones and go-live activities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong program coordination, data analysis, stakeholder management, and reporting experience, with the ability to synthesize complex program information into actionable insights for leadership. The analyst will collaborate across business teams, readiness stakeholders, project managers, and Agile/SCRUM teams to track deliverables, manage dependencies, identify risks, and support executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain readiness tracking frameworks, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to monitor program progress and organizational preparedness.
  • Coordinate Business & Site Readiness activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with program objectives and deployment timelines.
  • Monitor readiness deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and action items, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and potential impacts to go-live readiness.
  • Consolidate data from various teams and stakeholders to create accurate and comprehensive readiness status reports.
  • Translate complex operational and program data into executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate readiness review meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communications.
  • Partner with business leaders, project managers, product owners, and SCRUM teams to ensure readiness requirements are understood and completed.
  • Support go/no-go decision processes by providing data-driven analysis and readiness assessments.
  • Track issue resolution activities and ensure appropriate escalation of risks and blockers.
  • Maintain documentation related to readiness activities, program governance, and decision logs.
  • Analyze program performance metrics and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support change management, communication, and organizational readiness initiatives as needed.
  • Ensure alignment between operational readiness plans and overall program implementation strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in Program Analysis, Business Analysis, Project Coordination, PMO Support, Systems Operations, or related roles.
  • Strong experience supporting large-scale enterprise programs, technology implementations, or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, scorecards, and readiness tracking tools.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to interpret program data and provide meaningful business insights.
  • Experience tracking risks, issues, dependencies, and project milestones.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting ERP, enterprise system, or digital transformation deployments.
  • Familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, SAFe, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience with project management and reporting tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Utility, energy, infrastructure, or large enterprise environment experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting organizational readiness, business readiness, or deployment activities.
  • PMP, PMI-PBA, CAPM, Agile, SAFe, or related certifications are a plus.
