- Operate slitter/rewinder machinery to convert large rolls of printed or blank materials into finished rolls according to customer specifications.
- Set up slitter/rewinder for each job, including blade positioning, tension adjustments, and core alignment.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure proper web alignment, tension control, and cut accuracy throughout production.
- Conduct quality checks to verify that finished rolls meet required width, diameter, and label specifications.
- Identify, document, and remove defective materials or rolls that do not meet quality standards.
- Properly label, package, and stage finished rolls for shipment or further processing.
- Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and cleaning of slitter/rewinder equipment to maintain optimal performance and equipment longevity.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with company standards.
- Follow all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout protocols during setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.

- This is a full-time position. Hours of work Monday through Friday, time of day is depending on shift, 8 hours per day unless otherwise stated, 40 hours per week. No travel is required for this position. This position requires the employee to work on-site at the facility they are assigned to.
Required:
- High school diploma or GED (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Minimum of one year of relevant industry experience
- Ability and willingness to learn new equipment, technologies, and procedures
- Strong commitment to excellence and maintaining high standards of performance
- Flexible and adaptable with a positive attitude toward changing priorities
- Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on safety and quality
- Two years experience running slitter/rewinder or flexo press
